Pick a consistent crop and background for product cards. Keep enough room around the product for the theme’s display. Test the same image on desktop and mobile; a square source alone does not guarantee the intended crop.

Match each file to the correct product and variant. Keep accurate colours and clear detail views. Use descriptive alt text that describes the product shown, and check the live product page after uploading. The Shopify template is a starting point, not an automatic quality check.
Review before publishing
Check edges, labels, colour and proportions against the original image. AI results can require adjustment.
